Why Raw Honey?
Made in Your Backyard
You can't get much more local than Oh, Honey! honey. While it's true that some local honey is sold in grocery stores, most honey sold commercially has been pasteurized to extend the time before it crystalizes (turns into its granular form). Our local honey is made in Englewood, Colorado and has a unique taste and a fuller texture on the tongue.
Kicks Oxidants' Bee-hinds
Our honey is produced by happy bees and extracted in ultra-small batches once a summer. It is never heated or pasteurized, retaining all the natural plant compounds collected by tens of thousands of busy bees throughout the spring and summer. On a science-y note, raw honey contains polyphenols, which act as antioxidants, plus amino acids, minerals and vitamins.
Un-bee-lievable Taste
Oh, Honey! has a complex combination of mint and apple flavors, a rich feel on the tongue and light golden color that brings the simplicity of summer to your daily ritual. Use it for cooking, baking, in your hot beverages, on toast or drip it on goat cheese for a sweet and savory treat.
